The Will of The Reverend Benjamin Young

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me The Reverend Benjamin Young of Ipswich in the County of Suffolk Clerk I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Elizabeth Susanna Young all my household goods and furniture plate linen books china monies and all other my personal estate chattels and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever To Hold the same and every part thereof unto my said wife to and for her own absolute use benefit and disposal and I nominate constitute and appoint her my said wife Elizabeth Susanna Young sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I give the custody tuition and Guardianship of all my children during their respective minorities unto the said Elizabeth Susanna Young my wife and to my ffriends the Reverend Thomas Dennett West of Rushmere in the said County Clerk and the Reverend Robert Whytehead of Ipswich aforesaid Clerk and in case of the death of either of them the said Thomas Dennett West and Robert Whytehead during the minority of any of my said children then I give the custody tuition and Guardianship as such of them as shall then be under the age of twenty one years unto such other person as the survivor of them the said Thomas Dennett West and Robert Whytehead with the said Elizabeth Susanna my wife if living shall by any writing under their hands jointly direct or appoint in conjunction with them and if my said wife shall not be living then unto such other Person or the survivor of them the said Thomas Dennett West and Robert Whytehead shall by any writing under his hand alone direct or appoint in conjunction of such survivor until the youngest of my said children shall attain the age of twenty one years and lastly hereby revoking and making void all former and other wills by me made I do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty three B.Young
