This is the last Will
and Testament of me
Stephen Yearsley Yeoman
of the Parish of Hope
Mansell in the County of
Hereford which I make in
manner following that is
to say I hereby give
devise and bequeath unto
my beloved Wife Mary
Yearsley during the term
of her natural life All
and Singular my freehold
copyhold and leasehold
property in the Parish
of Hope Mansell in the
County of Hereford all
monies in the Public
ffunds Stocks or due to
me in the Government
Securities all monies
lent on mortgages book
debts bills of exchange
promissory notes
implements of husbandry
household furniture
plate books and linen
and every thing that may
be coming or due to me
in any way whatsoever or
any kind of Property of
which I may be possessed
after payment of all my
just debts funeral and
testamentary charges and
expences To hold the
same during the term of
her natural life for her
own use and benefit And
I do hereby order my
Executors hereinafter
named to sell by Public
Auction within six
months after the decease
of my said Wife Mary
Yearsley the whole of
freehold copyhold and
leasehold property
implements of husbandry
household furniture
plate books and linen
the proceeds of which
sale to be added to
whatever property might
be invested in the
Public ffunds Government
securities mortgages due
or owing to my estate
and within one month
after such sale equally
to divide the proceeds
of the whole property
amongst the whole of my
children or the
survivors of them viz
Eliza Yearsley James
Yearsley Ann the Wife of
John Heavington residing
at Devonport John
Yearsley Marianne
Yearsley Cornelius
Yearsley and Tryphena
Yearsley share and share
alike excepting the sum
of fifty pounds which is
to be deducted from my
daughter Ann’s share and
paid over to her brother
James And in the event
of any of my said
children marrying and
being defunct leaving
legitimate issue then
such children take the
share of their
respective parent which
share is to be equally
divided between them
also And I do hereby
nominate constitute and
appoint my sons James
Yearsley John Yearsley
and Cornelius Yearsley
Executors of this my
last Will and Testament
hereby revoking and
making void all former
and other Wills by me
made In witness whereof
I the said Stephen
Yearsley the Testator
have to this my last
Will and Testament set
my hand and affixed my
seal this third day of
September in the Year of
our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and thirty
