This is the last Will and
Testament of me Ann Yalden of Llanelly in the
County of Carmarthen Widow whereas I have
insured my life in the Royal Exchange Office for
one thousand pounds I give and bequeath the said
sum of one thousand pounds to be divided in
equal proportions to my three Daughters Anne the
Wife of Richard Janion Nevill of Llanelly
Carmarthenshire Mary the Wife of The Revd John
Page D. D. Vicar of Gillingham Kent and Caroline
the Wife of John Roberts Junr of Llanelly
aforesaid share and share alike I have also some
little Property in the 6 pr ct Consolidated
ffund placed therein from time to time in the
joint names of Joseph Maberly and Ann Yalden I
will and devise the same as follows ffirst I
give to my daughter Caroline Roberts aforesaid
the Sum of four hundred pounds of the said Stock
together with all my Linen Wearing Apparel and
household furniture excepting only my Mahogany
Wardrobe which I give to my daughter Anne Nevill
I give and bequeath to my Nephew Joseph Maberly
of Bedford Row London Solicitor one hundred
pounds in testimony of my affectionate gratitude
to him I give to Elizabeth the Wife of Walter
Rees of Llanelly five pounds and to her Sister
Mary the Wife of Thomas Evans the like Sum of
five pounds also I give to my Servant Mary
Griffith if she be living with me at the time of
my decease five pounds I give to my son William
Yalden my three volumes of Stanhope’s Epistles
and Gospels and to my Granddaughter Anne Nevill
my large family Bible I forgive to my Son in law
John Roberts Junr the hundred pounds for which I
have his promissory Note as security all the
rest residue and remainder of whatever I may die
possessed of or become entitled to I give leave
and bequeath to my aforesaid Daughter Anne the
Wife of Richard Janion Nevill my Debts and
ffuneral expences being first duly discharged
and I hereby appoint her the said Anne Nevill my
sole Residuary Legatee and appoint my aforesaid
Nephew Joseph Maberly sole Executor of this my
last Will and Testament revoking all former
Wills by me made As Witness my hand this 4th day
of April 1825 Anne Yalden Widow
