The Will of Thomas Worrall

In the name of God Amen the twenty seventh day of Decemb An Dom 1686 according to the computation of the Church of England I Thomas Worrall of Granborough in the County of Bucks being weak of body but of pfct memory praysed be God doe make and declare this my last will and testament in maner and forme following Viz ffirst and principally I commend my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God who created me and redeemed me by his Sonne Jesus Christ ; In by and through whose merritts I exult for remission of my Sinnes, and to be made partaker of his eternal and everlasting Kingdome, and my body to be buryed at the discression of my Executor hereafter named; And as concerning that portion of worldly wealth which it hath pleased God of his infinite goodnesse to bless me withall ffirst I give unto my brother Joseph Worrall six ridges of Arrable Land and one Lay of greenesword Lying on Noslow furlong in the pish of Granborough the land of Benedict Holland west
Also I give unto my said brother twenty bushells of mault and to his wife five shillings and unto his child five shillings Item I give unto my brother John Worrall one Quarter of mault and to his wife five shillings amd to each of his children five shillings a piece . Item I give unto my brother Benedict Worrall's wife shillings and to each of his children five shillings apiece Item I give unto my friend Robert Mainwaring five shillings to buy him a pair of gloves. Item I give unto my friend John Bowden five shillings to buy him a pair of gloves . The rest of my goods and chattells unbequeathed my debts being paid and funerall expenses discharged I give unto my brother David Worall whom I doe make sole Executor of this my last will and testament In witness whereof I have set my to my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written
