The Will of Grace Worrall
In the
Name of God Amen The Second Day
of April Anno Dom 1694 I Grace
Worrall of Quainton in the
County of Bucks Widow being
Sickly of Body but of Sound and
perfect Memory thanks be to God
for the same & calling to mind
that it is appointed for all men
once to Dye Doe make and
Orddaine this my Last Will &
Testament in maner and forme as
followeth (that is to say)
ffirst and principally I give
and Recommend my Soul into the
hands of God who gave it hopeing
to have Salvation by & through
the Merits of my Dear Redeemer
Jesus Christ & by no other
Meanes And for my Body I commend
it to the Earth to be Buryed in
a Christian like & decent maner
att the discretion of my
Executrix herein after named And
as touching such worldly Estate
wherewith it hath pleased God to
bless me with in this Life I
give devise & despose of the
same as followeth Item I give
devise & bequeath unto my
dearely Beloved Daughter
Elizabeth Worrall her heires and
assignes for ever All that my
Messuage or Tenement Where in I
now dwell situate in Quainton
aforesd Together wth the Barne
outhouses yard & Orchard Close
Hereditaments & apptnces
whatsoever there unto belonging
And also all my Lands whatsoever
Lying dispersedly in the parish
ffields & pcincts of Quainton
aforesaid together with all
profits priveledges and
apptences thereunto belonging or
in any wise obtaining Item I
give & bequeath un to my Son
Richard Worrall One Shilling
Item all the rest & residue of
my goods & Chattles whatsoever
that remaine yet unbequeathed I
do hereby give and bequeath unto
my said Daughter Elizabeth
Worrall And I do hereby nominate
& Ordaine her my sole Executrix
of this my last Will & testament
Revoaking all other Wills &
bequests heretofore by me made
In Wittnes whereof I have
hereunto set my hand & seale
Dated the day & yeare first
above Written
