The Will of George Haslewood Worrall

In
the Name of God Amen I
George Haslewood Worrall
of Emneth in the County
of Norfolk Gentleman
being of a sound and
disposing mind and
memory thanks be to God
do make and ordain this
my last Will and
Testament in manner
following that is to say
ffirst I Give and devise
unto my Cousin George
Worrall of Spalding in
the County of Lincoln
Gentleman all and
singular my Messuages
Lands Tenements and
Hereditaments situate
and being at Hickling in
the County of Nottingham
To hold the same unto
the said George Worrall
and his Assigns for and
during the Term of his
natural life and from
and after his decease
then I give and devise
the same unto William
Henly Worrall and Mary
Worrall the Son and
Daughter of my said
Cousin George Worrall
and to their Heirs
equally to be divided
between them as Tenants
in Common and not as
joint tenants but if
either of them the said
William Henly Worrall
and Mary Worrall shall
die before his or her
Age of twenty one Years
without Issue of his or
her Body then I give and
devise the Share of him
or her unto the Survivor
of them or the Heirs of
such Survivor Also I
give and devise unto my
Cousin Richard Worrall
of Melton Mowbray in the
County of Leicester and
his Heirs All and
singular my Messuages
Lands Tenements and
Hereditaments situate
and being in Melton
Mowbray aforesaid Also I
give and devise to
Elizabeth Worrall of
Emneth in the County of
Norfolk Widow of my late
ffather George Worrall
deceased All and
singular my Messuages
Lands Tenements and
Hereditaments in
Leverington in the Isle
of Ely in the County of
Cambridge and in
Walsoken and Walpole
Saint Peters and Walpole
Saint Andrews in the
said County of Norfolk
any or either of them To
hold to her and her
Assigns for and during
the Term of her natural
life and for and
immediately after her
decease I give and
devise the same unto my
Sister Amy Worrall her
Heirs and Assigns for
ever And all the Rest
and Residue of my
Messuages and Tenements
and Hereditaments I give
and devise to my said
Sister Amy Worrall her
Heirs and Assigns for
ever but I give to her
my said Sister all and
singular the said
Messuages Lands
Tenements and
Hereditaments as well
those I have given her
after the death of the
said Elizabeth Worrall
as those I have given
her after my own death
Upon Condition that she
pays unto Henry Oxburgh
the Son of James Oxburgh
late of Emneth aforesaid
Gentleman deceased the
Sum of Two hundred
Pounds at the Age of
Twenty one Years if he
shall so long live and
until he arrives at the
said Age that she Pay
the Interest of the said
Sum of Two hundred
Pounds Yearly by four
equal Payments after the
Rate of five pounds for
a hundred to his Mother
Eleanor Oxburgh if she
lives so long but if she
dies before the said
Henry arrives at that
Age then unto such
Person or Persons as the
said Henry Oxburgh shall
elect and make choice of
for his Guardian or
Guardians for and
towards his support and
Maintenance and if the
said Henry Oxburgh shall
die before his said Age
of twenty one Years then
my Will and mind is that
the said Legacy of Two
hundred Pounds shall
upon his decease merge
for the benefit of my
said Sister And my Will
and mind further is
touching the said Legacy
that my said Sister
shall pay any Part
thereof not exceeding
the Sum of One Hundred
Pounds that shall be
demanded of her by the
said Eleanor Oxburgh or
such other Person or
Persons as shall be
Guardian or Guardians of
the said Henry Oxburgh
elected as aforesaid for
the putting out of the
said Henry Oxburgh to
any Trade or Profession
and that from the time
of paying such part of
the said Legacy as
aforesaid the Interest
of so much thereof as
shall be so paid shall
cease And I do further
charge all and singular
my said Messuages Lands
Tenements and
Hereditaments
hereinbefore devised to
my said Sister from the
time the same shall come
into her hands with the
payment of not only the
said Sum of Two hundred
Pounds but also of all
and singular my debts
and all other my
Legacies hereinbefore
bequeathed Also I give
and bequeath unto my
said Mother in law
Elizabeth Worrall the
Sum of Three hundred
Pounds to be paid her
within Six Months next
after my decease and
this I give her in lieu
of and full satisfaction
for the Sum of five
hundred Pounds given her
by the Will of my said
ffather George Worrall
Also I give and bequeath
unto my good ffriends
James fflanner of
Wisbech saint Peters in
the Isle of Ely in the
County of Cambridge
Gentleman and William
Ezekiel fflanner of the
same place Grocer the
Sum of Ten Guineas each
to be paid within Six
Months next after my
decease Also I give and
bequeath unto the said
Elizabeth Worrall my
Silver Waiter and my
pair of Silver Salts
upon feet And all the
Rest and Residue of my
Goods Chattels and
Personal Estate I Give
and Bequeath unto my
said Sister Amey Worrall
And I do make her Sole
Executrix of this my
last Will and Testament
hereby revoking all
former Wills by me made
In Witness whereof to
this my last Will and
Testament contained in
three Sheets of Paper to
the first two Sheets
thereof I have set my
hand and to the last my
hand and seal this
seventh day of August in
the Year of Our Lord One
thousand seven hundred
