The Will of Eliz Woodmans

 

Eliz Woodmans last Will & Testaments I give and bequeath to Eliz: Proctor Daughter of my brother Vere Woodman and Deborah Elliott and Rebecca Woodman daughters of my brother Robert Woodman all my wareing apparel to be equally divided between them share and share alike I give to Eliz Proctor two large silver spoons marked with my own name I give to Deborah Elliott two large silver spoons and half a dozen of tea spoons I give to William Woodman son to my brother Robert Woodman two silver salts stands I give to Martha Dell the sum of five pounds to be payed in one month after my decease I give to Eliz: Walker my silver cream jug I give all my money and Personal estate to be divided into three shares one for my brother William Woodman for ever and I give him the other two shares for his life and after his death to be equally divided one share to my brother Vere Woodmans Children as many as shall be then liveing and one share to my brother Robert Woodmans Children as many as shall be liveing to be paid as soon as possible within one month after his decease I give to my brother William all the rest of my plate and linning and household ffurniture after my just debts are paid and I leave Mr Joseph Woodman littlecott in trust and Executor to see my will fulfilled and I give him the said Mr Woodman ten pounds as a small acknowledgement for his trouble and this is my last Will and Testament in my own hand wrighting this twenty forth of January in the year of our Lord 1811 I give to Rebecca Woodman Daughter of Robert Woodman my silver canister

As a codicil to my last will and Testament I bequeath to the Children of my of my nephew Edward Woodman now deceased the legacy left to their ffather in the former part of my last will in equal shares after the death of my brother William Woodman to be paid into the hands of Thomas Proctor for the use of the said children and further that if either of my nephews or nieces shall die before the death of my dear brother Wm Woodman that their legacies should be equally divided between their children and to be paid into the hands of Thos Proctor for that purpose Witness my hand the seventeenth day of August 1819 Eliz Woodman Veere Woodman
 
Eliz Woodman gives to Mary Woodman of Crafton my silver punch ladle and to William Woodman of Bearton my Tortoiseshell watch
 
Affidavit by Veere Woodman Parish Clerk of Wing in the County of Bucks and Mary Woodman of Wing aforesaid spinster that they were well acquainted with Elizabeth Woodman late of Wing in the County of Bucks spinster and with the character of her handwriting and that the Will and two codicils were in her proper handwriting sworn 9 May 1821
