I Veere Woodman of Mentmore in the County of Buckingham Gentleman do make this my last Will and Testament as follows namely I appoint my nephews Joseph Woodman and Thomas Woodman Executors and Trustees of this my Will I give and devise all my real and personal estate to the said Joseph Woodman and Thomas Woodman their heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the nature of such estate to and for the uses and trusts hereinafter declared that is to say Upon trust for my Wife Marianne Woodman and to permit and …..her to receive and take the rents profits and yearly income thereof for her life and immediately after her death then to the use of the said Joseph Woodman and Thomas Woodman and my nephew William Hedges/Woodman and their respective heirs executors administrators and assigns absolutely in equal shares as tenants in common And I devise to the said Joseph Woodman and Thomas Woodman and their heirs all the real estate vested in me as mortgagee and trustee subject to the trusts and equities affecting the same respectively And I declare that each executor and trustee for the time being of this my Will shall be charged and chargeable respectively for such monies only as he shall actually receive by virtue of the trusts hereby in him reposed notwithstanding his joining in any receipt for the sake of conformity and that any one of them shall not be answerable for the other or others of them nor for involuntary losses and also that it shall be lawful for him or them respectively with and out of the monies which shall come to his and their respective hands by virtue of this my Will to retain to and reimburse himself and themselves respectively and to allow  their respective co-trustee and executor all costs and expences which they or any of them shall or may expend or be put unto in or about the execution of this my Will or in relation thereto and I revoke all former Wills be me made In witness whereof I have set my hand this seventeenth day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six Veere Woodman
