In the Name of God Amen I Mary Woodman of
Crafton in the Parish of Wing in the County of Bucks Spinster being Sick
and Weak in Body but of Sound and Disposing Mind Memory and
Understanding (thanks be to God) Do make and Ordain this my last Will
and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First I Give
Will Devise and Bequeath unto my honoured Aunts and Uncles Sarah Woodman
Agnes Woodman Mary Woodman Rebecca Woodman and Vere Woodman the Sum of
Two Hundred Pounds of Lawful Money of Great Britain to be Equally
Divided between them Share and share alike to be paid by my Executor
hereafter named out of my Personal Estate within Twelve Months next
after my Decease Also I Give Will Devise and Bequeath unto my Eldest
Brother Henry Woodman of Wing in the said County of Bucks Baker the Sum
of Two Hundred and ffifty pounds of Lawful Money of Great Britain to be
paid unto him by my Executor hereafter named within Twelve Months next
after my Decease out of my Personal Estate Provided always and upon this
Condition That he the said Henry Woodman my Brother shall out of the
said Two hundred and fifty pounds so Devised to him as aforesaid well
and Truly Pay to my Niece Elizabeth Woodman his Daughter the Sum of
ffifty Pounds of Lawful Money of Great Britain when she Shall Arrive and
come to the Age of One and Twenty Years But In Case of her Death before
She shall come to that Age then the said ffifty Pounds to Sink to my
said Brother Henry Woodman and not be paid Also I Give Will Devise and
bequeath unto my Youngest Brother Thomas Woodman the Younger of Crafton
aforesaid Yeoman the Sum of Two Hundred and ffifty pounds of Lawful
Money of Great Britain to be paid unto him within Twelve Months next
after my Decease by my Executor hereafter named out of my Personal
Estate Also I Give Will Devise and bequeath the Several Legacies
following to be Paid by my Executor hereafter named out of my Personal
Estate at the Several times hereinafter Expressed (that is to say) To my
Cousins Vere Woodman Rebecca Woodman and William Woodman the Children of
my Uncle Henry Woodman of Crafton aforesaid Yeoman and to each and every
one of them the Sums of Ten Pounds A Piece of Lawful Money of Great
Britain To my Couzen Agnes Woodman their Sister the Sum of ffive Pounds
of like Money to be paid to them my said Couzens Vere Rebecca William
and Agnes Woodman when and as they shall arrive and come to their
respective Ages of One and Twenty Years And in case of their Decease or
the Decease of any or either of them before they shall Arrive and come
to that Age then the Legacy or Legacys of him her or them so Dying shall
go and be paid unto the Survivors or Survivor of them To my Couzen
Phillis Puttnam of Crafton aforesaid Spinster the like Sum of ffive
pounds to be paid unto her at her Age of One and Twenty Years To my
friend and Acquaintance Judith Dadford now of Buckingham in the said
County of Bucks Spinster but who lately lived with me the Sum of Ten
Pounds of like Money to be paid unto her within Twelve Months next after
my Decease Also I Give to the Poor of the Town of Leighton the Sum of
Two Pounds and ten Shillings And also to the Poor of the Town and Parish
of Wing the like Sum of Two Pounds and ten Shillings to be paid and
Distributed amongst them by my Executor hereafter named within three
Months next after my Decease Also I Give Devise and bequeath unto my
said ffour Aunts Sarah Agnes Mary and Rebecca Woodman and also to my
Sister in Law Mary Woodman and also to the said Judith Dadford All and
every my Wearing Apparell of what nature or kind soever to be Equally
Divided between them my said ffour Aunts Sarah Agnes Mary and Rebecca
Woodman and my said Sister in Law Mary Woodman and Judith Dadford share
and Share alike within Three Months next after my Decease Also I Give
Devise and bequeath to the use of all and every my Household Goods of
what kind soever that shall at the time of my Decease be in or about the
House at Crafton wherein I now live to my ffather Thomas Woodman the
Elder of Crafton aforesaid Yeoman for his life and from and after his
Decease Then I Give Devise and bequeath All my said Household Goods in
Crafton aforesaid To my Two Brothers the said Henry Woodman and Thomas
Woodman to be Equally Divided between them Share and share alike Also I
Give Devise and Bequeath All and Every my Household Goods and Implements
of Household that shall at the time of my Decease be at Leighton Buzzard
in the County of Bedford unto my said ffour Aunts Sarah Woodman Agnes
Woodman Mary Woodman and Rebecca Woodman to be Equally Divided between
them share and Share alike within Three Months next after my Decease
Also I Give Will Devise and bequeath unto my said ffather the said
Thomas Woodman the Elder of Crafton aforesaid All and every my Stock in
the Public ffunds and also All and every my Moneys Debts Ware in Plate
Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever not herein
before bequeathed unto the said Thomas Woodman the Elder my ffather his
Executors Administrators and Assigns thereout Paying my Just Debts and
ffuneral Expences and also the Several Legacys hereinbefore by me
Devised and mentioned And I do hereby make and Ordain the said Thomas
Woodman the Elder my ffather full and Sole Executor of this my last Will
and Testament And I do hereby Revoke and make Void all former and other
Wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Mary Woodman
the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament contained in Two
Sheets of Paper to each Sheet set my hand and Seal the Twenty first day
of November in the thirty first Year of the Reign of King George the
Second And in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and ffifty
