This is the last Will and Testament of me William Witteridge of Lowbrook Farm in the Parish of Okeford Fitzpain Yeoman First I direct that all my just debts shall be paid and satisfied by my Executrix and Executor hereinafter named Then I give devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and whether freehold or Personal unto my Wife Caroline Witteridge and her assigns for and during so long a time as she shall continue my Widow in order to maintain herself and my family from and out of the rents interest and profits thereof and from and after her decease or second Marriage which shall first happen I give devise and bequeath all the said Residue of my said Estate and Effects unto and amongst all my children in equal proportions share and share alike as tenants in common & not as joint tenants And I do hereby declare that in case either of my said children should die in my lifetime or in the lifetime of their Mother leaving lawful issue such issue shall be entitled to his her or their deceased Parents share And I hereby nominate and appoint my said Wife Caroline and my son John Witteridge Executrix and Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this twentieth day of June one thousand eight hundred and forty two William Witteridge
