I William Willicombe of Horton in the Parish
of Ilminster in the County of Somerset Joiner and Builder being of
sound mind memory and understanding thanks be to Almighty God for
the same but knowing the certainty of Death and the uncertain time
thereof do make this my last Will and Testament the 15th day of
January in the year of our Lord 1830 revoking all other wills that
hath been made by me in manner and form following (that is to say)
after my just debts and funeral expences be paid I give one third
part of the dwelling house garden and premises wherein I live at
Horton aforesaid with the one third part of my household goods and
furniture monies plate book debts or securities for money that I
shall be possessed of at the time of my death I give the above to my
daughter Mary Bird the Wife of Edward Bird Plasterer of the City of
Bath in the County of Somerset free from the controul of her
husband’s debts or engagements of any kind whatsoever I also give to
my daughter Ann Jones wife of Abraham Jones Builder of the City of
Bath one third part of the dwelling house garden and premises
wherein I live at Horton aforesaid with the one third part of my
household goods and furniture monies plate book debts or securities
for money that I shall be possessed of at the time of my death free
from the controul of her husband’s debts or Engagements of any kind
whatsoever In also give to my daughter Charlotte Bird wife of
Richard Bird Yeoman of Chitton in the County of Somerset one third
part of the dwelling house garden and premises wherein I live at
Horton aforesaid with the one third part of my household goods and
furniture monies plate book debts or securities for money that I
shall be possessed of at the time of my death free from the controul
of her husband’s debts or engagements of any kind whatsoever and if
either of my daughters should be leaving no issue the share of
either of them so dying shall then be divided between my other
daughters then living and.... equal share alike and my Will is that
such monies as my Son in laws or either of them Edward Bird Abraham
Jones & Richard Bird hath received of me it shall be divided between
my daughters that are then living .... being at the time of my death
an equal share alike and it is my desire that the whole of my
Effects shall be equally divided in 3 parts between my daughters
Mary Brid Ann Jones & Charlott Bird and equal share alike after my
death In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
15th day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight
