In the name of God amen the 26th day of December in the yeares of our Lord 1642: I Thomas Williamson of Claughton in the County of Chester beinge sicke in bodye but whole in mynd and of perfecte memorye doe make my last will and Testament in manour and forme aforesaid as ffolloweth first I comitte my soule to Allmighty gode my maker and my Bodye to be buried in the parish Churche opf Bidston As concerninge my worldly goods I bestowe them in this manour ffirst I doe give all my estate both goodes Tenements and lands unto my wiffe and unto my sonne henery payinge my debtes and my Childrens portions accordynge as theye as my sessers thinge fitte Thomas Dobe and William Wilson and if it doe hapen that my wife doe mary shee shall have of portion  accordinge as theise my sessers thinke fitte but while shee keepe her in my name shee shall bee heade and governer: I doe leave my wife and my sonne Henry sole amd onely executors to see this my last will and testamt performed discharged herein I have sette my hand and seale the day and yeare ffirst above written
