This is the last Will
and Testament of me Robert Williams of Purse Caundle in the
County of Dorset Yeoman I give devise and bequeath unto my son
George Williams and my friend William Taylor the whole of my
real and Personal Property of every kind In trust to pay to my
dear wife the interest arising from the whole of my property for
and during her natural life and at her decease to divide the
proceeds of my said property into equal eight shares, one eighth
to be divided into three parts and paid to my three sons Thomas
Williams John Williams and Robert Williams share and share
alike, one other eighth to be paid over to the use of Sarah
Father's Children living at my decease share and share alike as
representatives of their mother being my daughter, one other
eighth to be paid to Elizabeth the wife of Samuel Harris another
of my daughters, one other eighth to be paid to Charlotte the
wife of William Parsons another of my daughters, one other
eighth to be paid to my son George Ridout Williams, one other
eighth to be paid to my son William Williams, one other eighth
to be paid to my daughter Jane Williams, one other eighth to be
paid to my daughter Melina Robina Williams, and I do nominate
and appoint my son George Ridout Williams and William Taylor as
my Executors to this my last Will and Testament, to sell,
dispose and turn into money the whole of my property in order to
divide the same according to this my Will, except the household
goods and furniture which I give and bequeath unto my two
daughters Jane and Melina Robina. In witness hereunto I have set
my hand and seal this 27th day of March one thousand eight
hundred and forty six

On the twenty third day
of January one thousand eight hundred and forty seven the within
Will of Robert Williams late of Purse Caundle in the County of
Dorset Yeoman deceased was proved on the oaths of George Ridout
Williams of Spurls Farm in the Parish of Milborne Port in the
County of Somerset Yeoman and William Taylor of Stalbridge in
the County of Dorset Auctioneer and Appraiser the joint
executors named in the said Will to whom administration of all
and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased
was granted They being first duly sworn upon the Holy
Evangelists well and faithfully to administer the same to make a
true and perfect inventory of all the said goods chattels and
credits and exhibit the same into the Registry of the Court of
the Archdeacon of Dorset at the time assigned them by the said
Court and to render a just and true account thereof when thereto
lawfully required And further that the said goods chattels and
credits as not amount in value to the sum of eight hundred
pounds And lastly that the said deceased died on or about the
thirtieth day of October one thousand eight hundred and forty
six
