The Will of Rebecca Williams

 

In the Name of God Amen I Rebecca Williams now of the Parish of Haverfordwest Pembrokeshire do make this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following In the first place I desire my Body may be buried at the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter named in the most Private and the least expensive manner and as to all my Worldly Goods whereof I shall die possessed of I give and dispose thereof as follows in the first Place I desire that all my just Debts & ffuneral Expenses shall be fully paid & satisfied & subject thereto I give & dispose of my goods & money as follows My Sister Sarah Jordan to enjoy all my Property during her Life my House in Hill Street Haverfordwest I do give to my Nieces Ann & Sarah Williams .... remains single for their Lives & all the ffurniture Plate Linen & every thing that may be in the House after my decease to remain in it for their use & then to my Nephew John Williams of Abercamlais & his Heirs for ever who I leave my Executor to settle all my affairs after his Aunt Jordan’s death I do give to my Nephew Phillip Williams of ..... in the County of Warwickshire the Sum of Eight hundred Pounds to his daughter ffrances Williams my Goddaughter two hundred Pounds & to his Son Philip the Sum of Two hundred Pounds & his Son John & Daughter Sophia a hundred pounds each To my Nephew Percy Williams of Abercamlais my Niece Anna Jane Griffith & my Nieces Anna & Sarah Williams I do give to each of them the Sum of three hundred aPiece To David Griffiths my Godson the Sum of two hundred pounds I give to my Cousin Charlott Williams now residing at Worcester the Sum of Ten Pounds & to my friend Mrs Jordan now living in St Thomas Green Haverfordwest the Sum of Ten Pounds & to Miss Phillips the Daughter of the late Dr John Phillipps Williamstone the Sum of Ten Pounds & to my friend Elizabeth Harries now living in Hill Street Haverfordwest the sum of Five Guineas to buy her a Ring to my friend Mrs Rynd now living in Brecon the Sum of Ten Pounds I desire to be buried in the Cathedral Church of St Davids as near where my ffather & Mother lays as may be convenient with this Will will be an Account of all the ....... I am possessed of I do appoint my Sister Sarah Jordan my Executrix to this my last Will and Testament contained in half a Sheet of Paper I Set my Hand and Seal the Sixth of November 1820 Rebecca Williams
