In the name of God Amen I Thomas Warren of Newport Pagnell in the County of Buck Lacebuyer being infirm in body but of sound & disposeing mind & memory
(praysed be God) do make this my last will & testament in manner following (that is to say) ffirst I comend my soul into the hands of Allmighty God hopeing assuredly to be saved by & through the merritts of my alone Saviour Jesus Christ & my body I comitt to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix & Executor hereafter named And as to my worldly estate I dispose of the same as follows Item I give & devise unto my loveing wife Hannah All that my Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances in Newport Pagnell aforesaid wherein I now dwell for & during the term of her naturall life And as from & after her decease I give & devise the same pmises to my daughter Hannah & to her heires & assignes for ever Item I give & bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth the Sume of one hundred pounds of lawfull money of England And to my daughter Mary the like sume of one hundred pounds to be paid to each of them within twelve months after my decease And my will & meaning is that if either of my said two daughters Elizabeth & Mary shall depart this life before the receit of their legacies aforesaid or day of marriage whichever shall first come her portion so dyeing shall be equally devided between the rest of my surviving daughters All the rest of my goods & chattells unbequeathed after my debts & legacies paid & funeral expences discharged I give & bequeath to my said loveing wife Hannah whom together with Mr Thomas Potter of Newport Pagnell aforesaid I make sole Executrix & Executor of this my last will & Testamt In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seal the eight & twentieth day of september Anno Dom 1688
