The Will of Mary Ward

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Ward of the Town and County of the Town of Nottingham Spinster who am now of sound Mind Memory and Understanding ffirst I give and bequeath to my Brother William Ward of the City of Bath the Sum of Two hundred Pounds to be paid to him by my Executor at the end of six Calendar Months next after my decease Also I give and bequeath to my Brother George Cheselden Ward all my Goods Chattels Effects and Personal Estate whatsoever subject to the Payment of the aforesaid sum of Two hundred Pounds and of my Debts and ffuneral Expences and do appoint my said Brother George Cheselden Ward sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I desire that I may be buried at such Parish or Place as I shall happen to die at In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fourth day of May in the Year of Our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and eighty Mary Ward
