The Will of John Ward


In the Name of God Amen the twenty seventh day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one I John Ward of the Parish of Husbands Bosworth woolcomber being through the blessing of God in a sound state of mind and memory but calling to mind the frail tenure of this life and that it is appointed to all Men once to die to make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say with respect to my Worldly Estate I give and bequeath to be beloved Wife Martha Ward whom I make sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament the sum of ffour hundred and thirty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain together with all my Goods and Chattells ratifying and confirming this and no Other Original to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal the day and year above written John Ward
