This is the last will and testament of me JOHN WARCOPP of Heighington in County Durham clerk in manner and form following. I give to JANE FAWELL of Bellerby in the parish of Spennithorne £20 to be paid to her at the end of three Kalendar months next after my decease if then living. I give unto my cousin JANE SHUTT daughter of my neice ELIZABETH SHUTT £30 to be paid at the end of twelve Kalendar months etc .... and if JANE SHUTT should happen to die .... I give the said £30 to her mother ... I give unto my servant Elizabeth Collins and her assigns  one annuity of £12 .... to be paid out of my messuages lands and tenements and hereditaments situate at Gatenby, Scabbed Newton and Exilby in the County of York to be paid in quarterly payments ... on the 1st of May, 1st August, 1st November and 1st February ... I do hereby give and devize all and every my several messuages situate in Gatenby, Scabbed Newton, Exilby and Burneston and Ainderby Steeple in the North Riding of Yorkshire and also several messuages tenements dwelling houses yards and garths situate at Heighington in County Durham ... and all my morgages bonds notes and other securities for money ... unto my dear wife DOROTHY WARCOPP .... and I appoint my said wife DOROTHY WARCOPP sole executrix in witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 20th July 1783.
