This is the last Will and Testament of me John
Wadsworth of Beverley in the County of York Yeoman ffirst I direct
all my just Debts and ffuneral Expences to be paid & discharged I
give and bequeath unto my two sons Christopher & Thomas the Sum of
thirty pounds each I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth
Smith the Sum of ffifty pounds I give & bequeath unto my Daughter
Susannah Wilson the Sum of fforty Pounds & also my ffeather bed I
Give & bequeath unto my Daur ffrances Padget the Sum of 5L I Give &
bequeath unto my Son John the Sum of one Shilling I Give & bequeath
unto my Niece Elizabeth Smith the Sum of five pounds I Give &
bequeath all the rest residue & remainder of my Goods Chattels
Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever & wheresoever & of what
nature or kind soever (subject to the Payment of my just Debts
funeral Expences and the above mentioned Legacies) Unto my Sons in
law Richard Smith and John Wilson equally to be divided betwixt them
share and Share alike and I nominate and appoint my said Sons in law
Joint Exors of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of April in the
Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten The mark and

This is a Codicil to the within mentioned Will
of John Wadsworth I revoke and make Void the Legacy or Sum of thirty
Pounds given to my Son Christopher I revoke and make Void the Legacy
or Sum of forty Pounds given to my daughter Susannah Wilson I revoke
and annul my Son in Law John Wilson being one of my Executors I give
& bequeath unto my Daughter ffrances the Sum of thirty Pounds I give
& bequeath unto my Daughter Susannah Wilson the Sum of thirty Pounds
I give all the residue of my Effects to my Son in law Richard Smith
and appoint him my sole Executor I confirm my Will save and except
so far as the same is altered by this Codicil In Witness whereof I
have set my hand or mark this sixteenth day of May 1810 The Mark of
