This is the last Will of and Testament

of me Hester Vowles of Westbury in the County of Somerset Widow

I give all my Monies and Securities of Money personal Estate and Effects unto William Phelps of Milton in the Out Parish of Saint Cuthbert Wells in the County of Somerset Yeoman Upon Trust in the first place to pay all my just debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences and after satisfaction thereof to pay to Elizabeth Harris of Cheddar one Pound and to the children of Eliza Milton one pound in equal shares and after payment thereof to divide the residue unto and equally between all and every my Children and in case any or either of them should die in my life time their share or shares to be paid to and equally between their respective children and should they die without leaving children or child then their share to revert and become a part of my said personal Estate  In Witness whereof I have this 20 day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty four set my hand

Hester Vowles died on 6th March 1844 and probate was granted on 13th April 1844.
