In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Varley late Quarter Master of the Royal Regiment of Horse Guards now at this time Military Knight of Windsor being in good health and of sound judgement do make this my last Will and Testament that is to say whenever it shall please God to summons me into his presence I give and bequeath to Charlotte Varley my beloved and Wife all my household goods plate Books money with any sum or sums of money which may be due to me at the time of my death she paying any just debts which may be owing by me I appoint my lawful Wife Charlotte Varley should it please God to spare her to survive me my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and the money which my life is insured for I give and bequeath to her should she survive me and to this my last Will and Testament I set my hand and seal in the presence of two Witnesses at No 6 Lower Court Windsor Castle this twenty second day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty six Thomas Varley
