This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Underwood of West Cowes in the Isle of Wight Mariner I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences to be paid and discharged as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give and bequeath unto my dear Wife Jane Underwood absolutely And I nominate my said dear Wife Jane Underwood Executrix and my Nephew Charles Burridge Executor of my Will and revoking all other testamentary writings I declare this to be my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this sixteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine _ Henry Underwood
