The Will of George Trew

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me George Trew of Marshall Place Reading in the County of Berks I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Lucy all my money in the house and all Bankers wherewith to pay all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences I give and bequeath to my said dear wife for her life the use and benefit of all my household furniture and other effects of whatever nature or kind the same may be and consist And also all my interest in one third part or share of a certain freehold house at Pangbourne in the said County which was the property of my late father for her own use and benefit for her life And after the decease of my said dear wife I then give devise and bequeath the whole of my before mentioned household furniture and other effects and also my same one third part or share of the said house unto my daughter Eliza Trew for her own absolute use and benefit for ever I appoint my said dear wife and daughter Executrixes of this my will In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my X or mark being unable through illness to write my name this twenty first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five
