In the name of god Amen the 4th day of June 1668 _ I Edward Trendall of Charleton in the Parish of Wantinage in the Countie of Berks: Yeoman beinge sicke and weake in body: but of good and perfect memory (thanks be to Almighty god for it) doe make and ordaine this my Last will and testament in manor and forme followinge that is to say,

First I bequeathe my Soule into the hands of Almighty god my Creator, and as for my worldly goods which the Lord hath lent mee I give as followeth

Item I give unto my Loveinge Wife Joane all my goods both moveable and unmoveable together with my dwellinge house the backsides and all the apurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonginge dureing the term of her naturall Life

Item I give unto my grand Child Richard fflower my saied dwellinge house with the apurtenances thereunto belonging after the decease of Joane my wife he payeing unto Martha fflower my daughter twenty shillings a yeare dureing the term of her naturall Life

Item I give unto Robert fflower my Son in Law one shillinge
