The Will of Thomas Travis

 

4 July 1760 I THOMAS TRAVIS of Green within Hundersfield, make this my last will.
I give to my nephew James son of my brother John a pair of Woolen Looms now standing at my brother James’s
To my niece Mary Schofield daughter of Samuel Schofield Mariner 40/-
To my sister Dority Garside seven oak chairs now in her hands
To my sister Mary Rigg a bed and bedding
Also it is my will that if my brother Edmund Travis will pay to me what is due then I give to him £4 and my boots
The overplus of my personal I give to my two sisters Dority Garside and Mary Rigg
Executors my two Uncles in Law Joseph Butterworth and Edward Holt

Proved 16 August 1760 by the Exors named.
