The Will of Mary Topham

 

In the Name of God Amen I MARY TOPHAM of Scorton in the County of York widow being of sound and disposing mind and memory and understanding do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say First I will that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid and discharged. I give my son ANTHONY TOPHAM , to my daughters ELIZABETH  wife of JOHN ROBINSON, to MARGARET wife of MATTHEW TOPHAM and to ANN wife of RICHARD WALKER the several sums of £5 each to my said son and daughters to be paid to them at the end of 12 calendar months after my decease by my executrix hereinafter mentioned. I give and devise to my daughter  DOROTHY TOPHAM the house wherein I now dwell the outhouses and garden belonging thereunto ... for ever and all the furniture, goods and chattels whatsoever I may die possessed of and make and appoint her sole Executrix of this my last will and testament In witnesses whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this 18 July 1780
