This is the Last Will and Testament of me
Hannah Toop now residing at Caundle Marsh in the County of
Dorset Widow whereby I give and dispose of my Worldly Estate and
Effects in manner following that is to say first I give and
devise unto my two Sons William and George the Cottage or
Dwellinghouse Garden Orchard and Premises situate at Woodbridge
in the County of Somerset which I hold under Coombs to hold to
them their Executors Admors and Assigns for all the remainder of
my term and Estate therein equally as tenants in common and not
as joint tenants and I give and bequeath unto my said Son George
the sum of five hundred pounds but as my said Son William hath
already received upwards of two hundred pounds I bequeath to him
the sum of three hundred pounds only together with one silver
Table Spoon a swing looking glass and my small gold Ring as to
all my Household Goods and ffurniture and Implements of
Household of every sort and kind plate Linen and China except as
above mentioned I bequeath the same to my said Son George and if
anything remains after Payment of all my just debts ffuneral and
other expences and the above mentioned legacies I give and
bequeath the same to my said two Sons in equal proportions and I
hereby nominate and appoint my said two Sons joint Executors of
this my Will for the Purposes before mentioned In Witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the twenty eighth
day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight

This is a Codicil to be added to and taken
as part of the Last Will and Testament of me Hannah Toop now
residing at Caundle Marsh in the County of Dorset Widow first I
revoke the legacy of five hundred pounds which by my said Will I
have given to my Son George and instead thereof I bequeath the
said Sum of five hundred pounds to Mr Thomas Tooks of Sherborne
in the said County Gentleman In trust to place out or continue
the same at Interest and pay over the Annual Interest thereof to
my said Son George until he shall attain the Age of twenty one
Years and on his arrival at that Age to pay him the said
principal sum of five hundred pounds but not earlier and in case
my said Son George shall happen to die without attaining the
said age of twenty one Years my will is that the said Sum of
five hundred pounds shall be paid to my other Son William
nevertheless it is my desire that any Part of the said Sum of
five hundred pounds may be advanced my said Son George during
his minority to enable him to enter into any kind of business as
the said Thomas Tooks in his discretion shall think fit I give
to my son William a pier glass instead of a swing glass as
mentioned in my said Will I give to my Niece Jane Marsh ten
pounds and I confirm my said Will in all the particulars thereof
not hereby altered or revoked as Witness my hand this first day
of November 1815
