The Will of Thomazin Tome

 

In the name of God Amen The one and twentieth day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred fifty and one I Thomazin Tome of North tamerton in the County of Cornwall widdow beinge sick in body, but sound and perfect of memory (thanks be given to god therefore) Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme followinge ffirst I give and bequeath my Soule into the hands of Allmighty god my creator and mercifull redeemer And my body to Christian burial when it shall please god to call mee out of this transitory world Alsoe I give unto my Sister Julian Piffen my best suite of cloathes And all the residue of my goods and Chattles whatsoever I doe give and bequeath unto Leonard Tome and Samuel Courtis my Sonnes in law whom I doe hereby make and ordaine my Executors of this my last will and Testament And I doe hereby intreate them to dispose of some money unto my said Sister Julian and her children if soe my goods shall considerably amount unto a reasonable value and as they shall thinke fitt In Witnes whereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seale And published this to be my last Will and Testament In the presence of those under named The Signe of Thomas Tome Witnesses hereunto Richard Veale Trestram Maynard the Signe of Marke Tome
