This is the last Will and Testament of me
Margaret Tizard of Whatcombe in the County of Dorset Widow made
and published this third Day of June in the Year of our Lord one
Thousand seven Hundred and seventy eight First I give and
bequeath unto my Brother David Harvey of West Hill in the Parish
of Iwerne Minster in the County of Dorset aforesaid Dairyman the
Principal Money and Interest due to me on Bond or Obligation
bearing date the twenty seventh Day of April which was in the
Year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and sixty seven
entered into by James Davis of Colliers Puddle in the County of
Dorset aforesaid Malster unto my late Husband Thomas Tizard
deceased Also I give devise and bequeath unto my Nephew William
Harvey of Whatcombe aforesaid Labourer All that my Messuage or
Dwellinghouse wherein the said William Harvey now dwelleth
together with the Garden and Appurtenances thereunto belonging
To hold to my said Nephew William Harvey his Executors
Administrators and Assigns for and during all my Estate Term and
Interest therein Also I give and bequeath unto the said William
Harvey three Stocks of Beer and the Pots Stools and .......
thereto belonging Also I give and bequeath unto the said William
Harvey one Quarter Barrel Tub Also I give and bequeath unto John
Tizard of Woolridge in the said County of Dorset one Guinea at
the End of three Months next after my Decease Also I give and
bequeath unto Susanna Sh....y of Chaldon Henning in the said
County Widow one Guinea at the same Time Also I give and
bequeath unto Silas Tizard of Tressell in the said County
Labourer one Guinea at the same Time Also I give and bequeath
unto Sarah the Wife of George Law of Winterborne Houghton in the
said County One Feather Bed and my smallest Oak Box and such
Common Wearing Apparel as I wear on working Days Also I give and
bequeath unto my Niece Sarah Fisher the Wife of William Fisher
of Iwerne Courtney in the said County Yeoman One Feather Bed
Bedstead Pillows Bed Cloths and Furniture thereto belonging to
be delivered to her within one week next after my Decease and
also one Swarm of Bees with the Pot which contain the same Also
I give and bequeath unto Ann Harvey of West Hill aforesaid
Spinster a large Brass Kettle one Tea Kettle my best Table Cloth
Two Pewter Dishes Four Pewter Plates one Washing Tub one Swarm
of Bees.....and one small Cupboard to be delivered to her within
one Week next after my Decease Also I give and bequeath unto my
Brother John Harvey of Affpuddle in the said County Labourer my
Smallest Brass Kettle Also I give and bequeath unto my aforesaid
Nephew William Harvey my Clock Case and Weights now in his
Dwellinghouse at Whatcombe aforesaid Also I give and bequeath
unto David Harvey the Younger one small Oak Box Also I give and
bequeath unto Ann Harvey of Whatcombe aforesaid Spinster one
Brass Warming Pan a Brass Skillett one Iron Pot and one Iron
Cettell on Chimney Crook Also all the rest and residue of my
Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever that I shall dye
possessed of and not herein before by me given I give and
bequeath unto my said Brother David Harvey who I do hereby make
nominate constitute and appoint whole and sole Executor of this
my last Will and Testament he paying all my just Debts Legacies
and Funeral Expenses and I do hereby revoke and make void all
former Will and Wills by me at any Time heretofore made
declaring this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In
Witness whereof I the said Margaret Tizard the Testatrix to this
my last Will and Testament have set my Hand and Seal the Day and
Year first herein before written
