By Permission of Almighty God This is the last Will and Testament of me John Tizard of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis in the County of Dorset Taylor being blessed by God of sound and Disposing Mind good Memory and perfect Understanding made and Published in manner and form following (that is to say) First all my Estate Right Title Interest and Property of and in that Tenement and Dwelling House with the Appurtenances thereto belonging which I....Lives and wherein I now Dwell Situated on the East side of St Mary’s Street Melcombe Regis in the aforesaid County I Give and Bequeath one third part thereof to my Grandson James Tizard (the Son of my late Son William Tizard) his Executors Administrators and Assigns One other one third part thereof I Give and Bequeath unto my Grandson John Tizard (one other son of my late Son William Tizard) his Executors Administrators and Assigns And the other one third part thereof I Give and Bequeath unto my Granddaughter Catherine Cooper Hodge and her Executors Administrators and Assigns To hold the same Premises as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants On Condition that they the said James Tizard John Tizard and Catherine Cooper Hodge and their Executors Administrators and Assigns do and shall pay unto my Son Thomas Tizard or his Assigns the Sum of three Pounds good and lawful Money of Great Britain Yearly and every Year after my Decease During the Term of his life the first payment thereof to begin and be made Immediately at the Expiration of one Year next after my Decease and I do charge the said Dwelling house and Premises thereto belonging with the Payment of the Sum Yearly during the Term aforesaid And when my Just Debts and ffuneral Expences are paid and Discharged I Give and Bequeath all the Rest Residue and remainder of my household Goods and Furniture Plate China Linen Outstanding Debts Money and Securities for Money and all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal estate and Effects whatsoever or wheresoever to my Grandson James Tizard my Grandson John Tizard (sons of my late Son Willm Tizard) and my Granddaughter Catherine Cooper Hodge the whole thereof to be equally Divided between them in manner following (that is to say) one one third part thereof to my Grandson James Tizard his Executors Administrators and Assigns One other third part thereof to my Grandson John Tizard his Executors Administrators and Assigns (two sons of my late Son Willm Tizard) and the other third part thereof to my Granddaughter Catherine Cooper Hodge her Executors Administrators and Assigns And I do hereby nominate Constitute and Appoint my Grandson James Tizard and my Granddaughter Catherine Cooper Hodge sole Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Twenty Sixth day of March in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and ninety four John Tizard
