I Sarah Tilly of the Castle Precincts in the City of Bristol Widow being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding and considering with myself the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof do for the settling and disposing of such Worldly Estate and Effects as it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me with make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I recommend my Soul to God and my Body to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executors herein after named & after Payment of all my Just Debts and ffuneral Expences and other incident Charges and Expences I will and direct that all my Goods Chattels Monies and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever be divided into two equal half parts I give and bequeath unto my Son William Tilly of the said City of Bristol Cooper one equal half part of my said Goods Chattels Monies and Effects whatsoever To hold to him his Executors and Administrators In Trust for and towards the Maintenance Educating bringing up and setling in the World his own Child or Children in such manner as he shall think proper And the other equal half part of my Moneys Goods Chattels and Effects whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my said Son William Tilly and Edward Gardner of the said City of Bristol Wine Merchant jointly by them the said William Tilly and Edward Gardner divided as they shall think proper amongst all my Children And I do hereby appoint the said William Tilly and Edward Gardner joint Executors and Trustees of this my Will hereby revoking all former or other Will or Wills by me heretofore made and I do declare this only to be my true last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty eighth day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy     Sarah Tilly
