The Will of Judith Teuxbury

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Judith Teuxbury widow of East Lullworth in the County of Dorset made this thirteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand Eight hundred and two whereby i disannul and make void any former will or wills heretofore made by me ffirst I do hereby Nominate and Appoint my Daughter Sarah Teuxbury sole Executrix and Administertrix to all my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever any such be found at the time of my death and to her my said Daughter Sarah Teuxbury I give and bequeath all my Money or Monies and Securities for Money whatsoever and wheresoever any such be found at the time of my death with all my Goods Chattels and whatsoever I am possessed of to be received and by her and for her support so long as she shall live and to her Child or Children in case of any such living at the time of my said Daughter’s decease but in case my said daughter die without Issue then my will is that Thomas Molland Son of the Reverend Thomas Molland shall receive the Sum of one hundred pounds and the best of my Household Goods I give likewise after my Daughter’s death and in case of no Child Mr James ffirber or to his Children in case of his decease the Sum of one hundred pounds to the said Mr James ffurber of Steeple in the Isle of Purbeck I also will and order that after the death of my Daughter and in case of no Child that the Sum of one hundred pounds be put out for Interest on good Security and that the Interest of the said one hundred pounds be annually paid to the .... Collector of Monies for the support of Mr John Bannister now Minister of the Gospel to the Congregation Assembling in West Street in the Town and Borough of Wareham Dorset and to the said Mr Bannister’s Successors so long as the Orthodox belief is there taught by such Minister in succession and I do hereby choose and Appoint my ffriends Mr Jas ffirber aforesaid and John Strickland of East Holme Dorset to be my Executors in Trust for the defence and Security of my said Daughter and whatever concerns her Interest and Advantage and I give to the said John Strickland after the decease of my daughter the Sum of ffive pounds and I desire my daughter will make her will soon as conveniently after my decease and give the remaining part of my Money (not here given by me) to whom she my said Daughter pleases Signed and Sealed with my own hand day and date above written _ Judith Teuxbury _ Witnessed by use John Strickland _ Mary Grant   24 October 1804 Administration with Will annexed to Reverend Thomas Molland sole Executor of the Will of Sarah Teuxbury Spinster deceased who survived her mother but died without taking on execution of the Will   PCC Prob11/1416
