Bold, 1663: Probate 1665
In the name of God
Amen I Thomas Taylor of Bold in the county of Lanc husbandman
being weake in body but of good & perfect memory doe make &
ordaine this my last will & testament in manner & forme
following Impr(imis) I commend my soule into the hands of
almighty god my maker hopeing by the meritts of his passion to
be one of his elect And my body I committ to Chrisyian buriall
And for the goods wherew(i)th god hath blest me in this world I
give & dispose of them in manner & forme following Imp(imi)s I
give & bequeath unto Tho(mas) Taylor Ellen Banks Ann Sutton &
Alis Booth my Children every one twelve pence It(e)m I give unto
Elizabeth Taylor my daughter in law the greate in the house
It(e)m I give unto Jane Taylor my grandchild a greate pewter
dish & one of the chests in the chamber belowe whether she
pleaseth It(e)m I give unto Tho(mas) Taylor my grandchild the
long table in the parlor & the short table in the same roomw
w9I)th the formes & seates belonging to them after the decease
of me the said Thomas Taylor Thomas Taylor my sonne & Elizabeth
Taylor his wife And for the rest & residue of my goods after my
debts legasies & funerall expences paid & discharged I give &
bequeath them wholely unto Eales Taylor my wife togeather w(i)th
fower pound due unto me from Roger Sutton to be entirely & wholy
at her disposeing And for the house wherein I now live w(i)th
the rest of the houseing & small p(ar)cell ground thereunto
belonging I grant & assigne over unto Thomas Taylor my sonne
after the death & decease of me the said Thomas Taylor & eales
Taylor my wife to hould unto his heires & assignes dureing the
remainder of the lease And lastly I constitute & make Eales
Taylor my now wife sole executrix of this my last will and
testam(en)t hopeing that shee will see all this p(er)formed
accordingly In Wittnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and
seale the ffowerteenth day of Aprill in the fifteenth yeare of
the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the second of England
