I Edward Taylor of Kirkham Abbey in the
County of York Esquire hereby revoking all Wills and
testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made do
make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament I give
unto my Wife Emma Georgina Bentley Taylor absolutely All her
jewels and paraphernalia and all my books or sheets or
manuscripts or musical instruments And also my .....carriage and
saddle horses with the harness and accoutrements thereto
belonging and all the wines liquors fuel and other consumable
household stores and provisions which shall belong to me at my
decease and all my real estate and all the residue of my
personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give unto my elder
son Edward Clough Taylor absolutely I make no further provision
than what is hereinbefore contained for my said wife because
she is provided for by settlement nor do I make provision herein
for my two daughters and my younger Son as they also are
otherwise provided for And I devise all real estates vested in
me absolutely... on any trust or by way of Mortgage unto and to
the use of the said Edward Clough Taylor and his heirs Upon the
trusts and subject to the equities of redemption that shall be
subsisting or capable of.... therein at the time of my decease
and all monies secured thereunder to which I am beneficially
entitled shall be taken to be part of my personal estate
hereinbefore disposed of And I appoint the said Edward Clough
Taylor Executor of this my Will And I appoint my said Wife
Guardian of my infant daughter Emma Sarah Clough Taylor during
her minority In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
seal this thirty first day of August one thousand eight hundred
and fifty Edward Taylor
