The Will of Ann Sturton

 

This is the last Will and Testament of my Ann Sturton of Littleport in the Isle of Ely and county of Cambridge Widow as follows I devise my real estate unto and to the use of all my children living at my decease their respective heirs and assigns for ever as tenants in common I bequeath all my personal estate and effects unto my two sons John Sturton of the City of London Chemist and Joseph Sturton of the Town of Cambridge Chemist their executors and administrators Nevertheless In trust to call in and convert the same and out of the money arising therefrom pay my funeral and testamentary expences and just debts and then divide the residue unto and between themsoever the said John Sturton and Joseph Sturton and all my other children living at my death in equal shares I devise all mortgages and trust estates which may be vested in me unto the said John Sturton and Joseph Sturton their heirs and assigns Nevertheless to and upon the equities and....... of the estates retrospectively I appoint the said John Sturton and Joseph Sturton Executors of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 7th day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven Ann Sturton
