The Will of Thomas Stretton Jnr.

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Stretton Junior of Saddington in the County of Leicester Grazier I give and bequeath after my decease unto my Son Bartholomew Stretton all and every my parts and shares in the Navigation called the Ellesmere Canal with all the profits arising therefrom for his own use and benefit also I leave all my household furniture and other personal effects to my Son Bartholomew Stretton and to my Daughter Sarah Barwell to be by them divided share and share alike for their own uses and at their own disposal also I appoint my Nephew Thomas Stretton of Saddington my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Stretton the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the ninth day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four Thomas Stretton
