The Will of George Storer

 

In the name of God, Amen, I George Storer of Great Crakall in the parish of Bedall yeoman, being sick of body but perfect in memory (praised be god) do make now my last will and testament the fourth day of May in the year of our lord god one thousand six hundred and twenty in manner and form as followeth: 
first I bequeath my soul to almighty god my maker and redeemer trusting by the merits death and passion of Jesus Christ to be one of his saved number. And my bones to be buried within the parish church earth of Bedall. 
Item my mind and will is that Charles Storer my nevie shall have forty shillings to bind him to ane trade. 
Item I do constitute and make by this my will and testament my wife Margaret Storer my sole and full executor of this my will and also of all my goods and chattels moveable and unmoveable and of all such debts as should have been paid to me if I had been living here upon earth, and to pay debts as is undischarged and by me hath been due to have been paid.
 Memo. that Robert Johnson of Langton be acquainted with this will before the probate........thereof.........who married his daughter
