The Will of James Stevens
In the
Name of God Amen I James Stevens
of Brisinghill in the County of
Stafford Gentleman do this
twenty sixth day of January one
thousand eight hundred and
thirty seven make publish and
declare this to be my last Will
and Testament in manner and form
following that is to say I will
and direct that all my just
debts funeral and testamentary
expences be paid and discharged
as soon as may be after my
decease and I give and bequeath
the whole of my property real
and personal to my nephews and
nieces as follows to be equally
divided between them namely
James Stevens William Stevens
Joseph Stevens Eliza Couch Maria
Steven ffrances Stevens sons and
daughters of Joseph Stevens also
Hannah Cresswell Mary Williams
Eliza Silvers Sarah Silvers
Ellen Silvers & Maria Silvers
daughters of Joseph Silvers and
Maria Silvers my sister and
lastly I nominate and appoint my
nephew James Stevens and Richard
Williams of Brettell lane
Executors of this my last Will
and Testament hereby revoking
all former Wills by me at any
time heretofore made In Witness
whereof I the testator James
Stevens have to this my last
Will and Testament set my hand
and seal this twenty seventh day
of January one thousand eight
hundred and thirty seven James
