The Will of Betty Steens

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Betty Steens of Hoylake in the County of Chester. Widow, I devise and bequeath All the real and personal estate to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease unto my Niece Ruth Blundell the Wife of Joseph Blundell of Hoylake aforesaid Joiner for her sole and separate use and free from the debts control and engagements of her present or any future husband but as to estates vested in me upon trust or by way of mortgage subject to the trusts and equities affecting the same respectively And I appoint the said Ruth Blundell sole Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all other testamentary writings In witness whereof I have set my hand this second day of April one thousand eight hundred and seventy

Proved at Chester the 6th day of August 1870 by the oath of Ruth Blundell (Wife of Joseph Blundell) the Niece the sole Executrix to whom Administration was granted

The Testatrix Betty Steens was late of the Ship Inn Hoylake in the County of Chester Widow and died on the 17th day of July 1870 at the Ship Inn aforesaid
