Lion St, in the Borough
of Stafford being
week(weak) in body but
of a perfect disposing
mind memory and
understanding do make
and ordain, this my last
will and testament in
the following manner and
form viz I direct that
all my just debts
funeral and testamentary
expenses be fully paid
and satisfied as soon as
convenient after my
decease and that my
remains be decently
buried in Christian like
manner at the discretion
of my wife Emily Stanton
I will give and bequeath
unto my beloved wife
Emily Stanton all that
freehold dwelling house
and garden belonging
there to situate no 37
Red Lion Street in the
borough of Stafford all
my household furniture
and effects of
whatsoever description
all my weaving apparel
all money wheresoever
invested interest and
security of money and
all and every other
benefit that may arise
from any source
whatsoever either in
expectancy or otherwise
at the time of my
decease for her own
absolute and perculier
use and benefit upon her
own receipts and without
being in any wise
subject or liable to the
debts control or
interferance of
any husband with whom
she may at any time
intermarry and her
receipts alone whether
married or single shall
be a good and effectual
discharge for the same
and I hereby appoint and
constitute John Smith
junior and George Ward
my executors of this my
last will and testament
revoking and making null
and void all former
wills and testamentary
writings heretofore in
anyway made by me
declaring this and no
other to be my last will
and testament in witness
whereof I have here unto
affixed my hand and seal
