The Will of Emanuel Squibb

I Emanuel Squibb of Rampisham in the
County of Dorset being desirous that a reasonable and proper
Distribution may be made of Such Goods & Chattles as I shall
happen to leave behind me at my Decease Do for that Purpose make
this my last Will and Testament First I give to John Squibb of
Rampisham aforesd Yeoman Son of John Squibb Yeoman deceased the
Sum of five Pounds to be paid within one Year after my decease _
Also I give to Elizabeth Wood Wife of John Wood of Frampton in
the sd County the Sum of five Pounds to be paid within one Year
after my decease _ Also I give to Thomas Son of Thomas Stone of
Charminster in the sd County of Dorset Yeoman the Sum of five
Pounds to be paid within one Year after my decease _ Also I give
unto William Coombe of Rampisham aforesd Son of John Coombe of
the same Place Taylor all that Tenement commonly called or known
by the Name of Smethell situate lying and being in the Parish of
Chelborough in the sd County of Dorset for and during the Term
of his natural LifeAnd after his Decease I give the Rest &
Residue of the Term in the sd Tenement of Smethall unto Ann
Newton Daughter of William Newton the younger of Maiden Newton
in the sd County of Dorset Also I give unto William Coombe
aforesd all my Reversionary Rights in all that divided Moiety or
halfendale of a Messuage or Tenement now in the Possession or
Occupation of William Smith otherwise William Pearce for and
during the Term of the natural Life of him the sad William
Coombe and after his Decease I give the same to Mary Newton
Daughter of William Newton the younger aforesd _ Also I give
unto Ann Newton and Mary Newton and each of them to buy Cloaths
the Sum of forty Shillings to be paid unto them yearly and every
year by the sd William Coombe during his natural Life or so long
as he shall hold the Premises hereby devised to him _ All the
Rest and Residue of my Goods Chattles and Personal estate
whatever I give unto William Coombe of Rampisham aforesd Yeoman
and do make and ordain him the sd William Coombe sole Executor
of this my Will In Witness whereof I the sd Emanuel Squibb have
to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this
eighteenth Day of October In the Year of our Lord One Thousand
seven hundred and fifty seven
