This is the
last Will
and
Testament of
me Lydia
Smith of
Ensham in
the County
of Oxford
widow (that
is to say) I
give and
devise to my
son James
Smith All
those my
three
cottages or
Tenements
with the
Gardens and
Appurtenances
to the same
belonging
now in the
occupations
of Richard
Floyd,
William
Maycock and
Richard Hutt
And to all
that Close
or Orchard
now in the
occupation
of my said
son James
situate and
being in
Ensham
aforesaid
All which
said
premises are
copyhold of
Inheritance
of the Manor
of Ensham
and have
been
surrendered
to the use
of my last
Will To Hold
the same to
my said Son
James Smith
and his
Heirs
forever
according to
the Custom
of the said
Manor
chargeable
nevertheless
and I hereby
charge the
same with
the payment
of the Sum
of Thirty
Five Pounds
to my
Daughter
Lydia Smith
- the Sum of

Pounds to my
Son William
- the sum of

Pounds to my
son Jeremiah
- the sum of

Wife of

to be paid

Interest for

divided
between Mary
the daughter

sons and

be paid to

shall attain

Daughters

residue of

Chattells
and Effects

funeral
