The Will
of John Sly late of Haygrove in
the Parish of Warminster in the
County of Wilts and Diocese of
Sarum deceased
I John Sly the Elder of Haygrove
in the Parish of Warminster in
the County of Wilts Gardener
hereby revoke and make void all
and every other Will and Wills
Testament and Testaments by me
at any time heretofore made and
declare this to be and contain
my only last Will and Testament
as follows First I will that my
debts and Funeral Expences be
paid and satisfied Also I give
devise and bequeath unto my
loving Wife Mary Sly and her
Assigns for and during the Term
of her natural Life All that my
Messuage or Tenement Barn Stable
Outhouses Lands Hereditaments
and Premises now in my own
Occupation and in the Occupation
of James Elder as my Tenant
situate lying and being in
Haygrove aforesaid And from and
after the Death of her my said
Wife Mary Sly I give devise and
bequeath the said Messuage or
Tenement Barn Stable Outhouses
Lands Hereditaments and Premises
unto my Son Lewis Sly and the
Heirs of his Body lawfully
issuing for ever Also I give
devise and bequeath unto my said
Wife Mary Sly her Executors
Administrators and Assigns the
rest residue and remainder of my
Monies Securities for Money
Chattles and Effects real and
personal Estate whatsoever and
wheresoever and of what nature
or kind soever Lastly I make
nominate constitute and appoint
my Friends James Smith the Elder
of Corsley in the said County of
Wilts Farmer and John Raynes of
Longleat Park Keeper to the
Right Honourable Thomas Lord
Viscount Weymouth joint
Executors in Trust of this my
said last Will and Testament In
Witness whereof I the said
