I make this my last will and testement first I liver my soul unto the hands of Almighty God.

Item I make my brother Thos Executer of all I have paying as follows

Item I leave to my Father one shilling

Item I leave to my mother one shilling

Item I leave to my sister ELIZABETH ten pound

Item I leave to my brother CHRIS five shillings

Item I leave to my brother JOHN five shillings

Christopher Slater father of Thomas Slater a minor sole executor in the will of Richard Slater of Caldber[gh] in the parish of Coverham named was sworn for the use and during the minority of the said executor well and faithfully to administer to the goods of Richard Slater above mentioned deceased according to the Directions of the will of Richard Slater aforesaid and so forth and that the personal estate of the said Richard Slater will not in their real value amount to twenty pounds. 1st February 1773

Memorandum that John Taylor one of the subscribing witnesses to the within written will voluntarily came before me this first day of February 1773 and made oath that Richard Slater the within names testator signed and executed the within written will on the Nineteenth day of January last.
