In the Name of God Amen I Caroline Slater of Margate in the Parish of Saint John the Baptist in the Isle of Thanet in the County of Kent Spinster being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I direct that all my just debts funeral expences and the charges of proving this my Will And executing this my Will be fully paid and discharged by and out of my estate and effects I give and bequeath all my household furniture plate linen china and wearing apparel unto my Sister Mary Slater of Margate aforesaid Spinster to be at her own absolute disposal I give and bequeath all the interest dividend s income and profits of all the residue of my personal estate and effects of every kind after payment of my debts funeral expences and the charges of proving and executing this my Will unto my said Sister Mary Slater for and during the term of her life and after her decease I give and bequeath all the said residue of my personal estate and effects both principal and interest unto my nieces Sophia Jarvis Elizabeth Jarvis and ffrances Jarvis to be equally divided between them share and share alike on condition that nevertheless that my said nieces do and shall within six months next after the decease of my said Sister pay unto my nephew John Jarvis of London Straw Manufacturer the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds I give and devise the rents issues and profits of all my freehold messuages lands Tenements and hereditaments parts purports and shares of messuages lands Tenements and hereditaments and all of my real estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Sister Mary Slater for and during the term of her life and after her decease I give and devise the same rents issues and profits unto my brother George Slater of Margate aforesaid Surgeon for and during the term of his life and from and after the decease of the survivor of them my said Sister and Brother I give and devise the said messuages lands Tenements and hereditaments parts purports and shares of messuages lands Tenements and heredits and real estate and every part thereof and all my estate and interest therein unto my nephews George Slater Edward Slater and Bernard Slater and my nieces Mary Slater and ffrances Denne the Wife of Thomas Denne of Upstreet in the County of Kent Esquire the sons and daughters of my said brother George Slater in equal shares and proportions and to their heirs and assigns for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants on condition nevertheless that they my said named nephews & nieces do and shall within six months next after the decease of the survivor of them my said Sister and brother pay unto my nephew John Slater another Son of my said brother the sum of fifty pounds and I do nominate and appoint my said Sister Mary Slater and my said Nephew William Slater Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this fifth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight
