The last Will and Testament of me John
Skitt of Wem in the County of Salop as follows I Order and
direct in the first place that my Debts ffuneral Charges and the
expences of my Executrixes and Trustees hereafter named in the
execution of this my Will shall be fully paid and Satisfyed I
give unto Ann ffox daughter of Mary ffox late of Tooley Park in
the County of Leicester and now the Wife of William Seale of
Pockleton in the said County of Leicester the Sum of three
hundred Pounds to be paid to the said Anne ffox when she shall
obtain the Age of twenty one Years or on the Day of her Marriage
if she shall Marry with the Consent of my Executrixes and
Trustees before she shall attain the said Age The Interest of
the said three hundred pounds to be applyed from the time of my
decease untill the same shall become payable as aforesaid for
and towards the Maintenance Education and Cloathing of the said
Anne ffox I do impower my said Executrixes and Trustees to apply
any part of the said Sum of three hundred pounds not exceeding
forty Pounds in the whole to make up any deficiency or to place
her out Apprentice or otherwise as they shall Judge meet for the
benefit of the said Anne ffox I give unto Susanna Wood of
Tenbury Daughter of my relation Vincent Wood of Tenbury the Sum
of Eighty Pounds I give unto .....Wood another Daughter of the
said Vincent Wood twenty Pounds I give unto my Goddaughter Jane
Adams and her Brother Walton Adams the Sum of twenty Pounds to
each of them I give to Mrs Decima ffawdon late House Keeper to
Mrs Boothby Skrymshire the Sum of twenty Pounds I give to Robert
Bayley Mary Chesterton and Anne Chesterton Sister to the said
Mary Chesterton Servants to the said Mrs Boothby Skrymshire the
Sum of ten Pounds to each of them I give unto the before
mentioned Mary Seale the Wife of William Seale of Pockleton ten
Pounds I give to Anne Dunn the Wife of William Dunn of
Wellington in the County of Salop ten Pounds I give unto Mary
Tilladam Wife of John Tilladam of Tamworth in the County of
Stafford ten Pounds I give to William Abney Esq of Tamworth to
Catherine his Wife and to Mary Clark Abney his Eldest Daughter
one Guinea each to buy each of them a Ring I give unto my
relation Mr George Walford of Wem all my Wareing Apparel of all
Sorts whatsoever I give to my present Maid Elizabeth Jones
Provided she lives with me at the time of my decease five Pounds
and all my Hempen Sheets All the rest and Residue of my Estate
of what Nature Kind or Quality whatsoever Real and Personal or
mixed I give devise and bequeath unto my said Executrixes but if
she Inherit and come into the possession of my Estate at Hatton
Hall in the County of Cheshire it is my Order and direction that
my said Executrixes Pay unto the aforesaid Anne ffox every Year
during her Natural life the Sum of ten pounds clear of all
Deductions of what kind soever and I do hereby Nominate and
Appoint Jane Walford the Daughter of Thomas Walford of Wem in
the County of Salop Mary Walford and Catherine Walford Sisters
to the said Jane Walford to be my sole Executrixes and Trustees
of this last Will and Testament and I do hereby Revoke and make
Void all other Wills by me made heretofore John Skitt
