The Will of Samuel Shillingford

I Samuel Shillingford of No 29 Devonshire Street Globe ffields in the Hamlet of Mile End Old Town in the Parish of St Dunstan Stepney and County of Middlesex Colour Maker do hereby make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say ffirst I direct that my executors hereinafter named shall with all convenient speed after my decease pay and discharge all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and after payment and satisfaction thereof as to the Rest Remainder and Residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind quality of description soever the same may consist of or be whether in possession or otherwise in remainder or expectancy at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my dear wife Elizabeth Shillingford and Benjamin Smith Esquire of No 41 Canonbury Square in the Parish of St Mary Islington and County of Middlesex Upon Trust to pay apply and use the same both principal and interest for the use support maintenance and education of my dear children Eliza Priscilla Benjamin and Charles Shillingford jointly with my said Wife during her life as need shall require and my said Trustees shall in their discretion so meet and I nominate and appoint my said dear wife Elizabeth Shillingford and the said Benjamin Smith Esquire Executrix and Executor and Trustees of this my Will In Witness whereof I have set my hand this twenty second day of June in the Year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven
