In the Name of Good Amen I John Shepherd of the Parish of St Paul Shadwell in the County of Middlesex Cutler being of Sound Mind Memory and Understanding Praised be God for the same do make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and fform following Imprimis I recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God that gave it me and my Body to the Earth to be decently Interred at the Discretion of my Executors hereinafter mentioned and as to my Worldly Estate I give and bequeath immediately after my Decease unto my Kinsmen Richard Shepherd Samuel Shepherd and William Shepherd to each and Severally of them one Shilling of lawful Money of Great Britain Item I give and devise unto my Executors hereinafter mentioned to each and Severally of them Ten Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain for their Care and Trouble and faithfull discharge of this my last Will Item I give and devise unto my Kinswoman Bettey Cope of the Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell spinster all and every my real and Personal Estate after Payment of my just Debts ffuneral Charges and Legacies as above mentioned to my Kinsmen and Executors and also all my Goods Chattells Linnen Plate Household Goods except the ffurniture of the Room up two Pair of Stairs I give unto May Mathoman except the Brass Stove fire Shovell and Poker I give also to my Kinswoman Betty Cope all my Stock in Trade Item I give unto Charles West one of my Executors hereinafter mentioned the Kings Coat of Arms that is in my Parlour and lastly revoking all former Wills by me made I do hereby nominate and appoint Mr Charles West of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate aforesaid Instrument Maker Robert Barnet of the Parish of St Paul Shadwell in the County aforesaid Butcher and Rowland Veaver of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate aforesaid Instrumentmaker my Executors of this my last Will In Witness I have to this my last Will and Testament contained in one Sheet of Paper set my Hand and Seal this Twenty fourth day of June and in the Twenty fifth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain ffrance Ireland
