In the name of God the tenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & thirty Five I George Sephton of Scarisbrick in the County of Lancaster yeom being weak of Body but of sound and perfect memory praised be given to almighty god for the same Do make this my Last will and Testament in maner and form following
First I comend my soule to allmighty god who Gave it me and my Body I comitt to the Earth to be interred att the discretion of my Executors hereafter named, and as tuching my personal Estate - which the Lord hath Lent me I give and Dispose thereof as follows
First my will is that my Debts if any and funeral Expenses be paid then I give & bequeath to John Sephton my Grandson the bedstocks that stands ilk parlor and the pistal then I give to Jane Watkinson, my GrandDaughter Two fether bedds & Chaff Bedd and Two fether Bousters & one Chaff Bouster a silver spoone & five shilling piece of Gould
Likewise I give to James my Granson the Iron Trapp then it is my mind that my Two Granchildren Jane and James Watkinson have all the remainder of my personal Estate Goods and money
Lastly I nominate and apoint Henry Fletcher and Hugh Watkinson Both of Scarisbrick Executors of this my Last will and Testament Disanuling all other wills by me made
