The Will of Boyd Scott

 

In the Name of God Amen I Boyd Scott of Penryn in the County of Cornwall Spinster do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First I give and bequeath to my Cousin James Mac Culloch of the Island of Guernsey Esquire all my plate and trinkets Item I give and bequeath to the Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereinafter named the sum of ten pounds as remuneration for his trouble in executing the same And as for the Residue of my Personal Estate whether consisting on moneys in any Public Funds or Securities cash household furniture bed and table linen wearing apparel or otherwise I give and bequeath the same to my servant Mary Bosseuce and I hereby make nominate and appoint Harvey Street of Penryn aforesaid Surgeon to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking and making void every other Will or Wills by me heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand at Guernsey this twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one _ Boyd Scott
